Mostowska er tilknyttet Avdeling for boligforskning og miljørettet planforskning som gjesteforsker for perioden januar - juni 2010.
Hun samarbeider med NIBR om prosjektet "Migration and homelessness: Geographies of exclusion and support". Målet er feltarbeid om boligsituasjonen for migranter i Norge, med spesiell fokus på bostedsløshet blant polske migranter i Oslo.
Mostowska har en PhD fra Faculty of Architecture, Warsaw University of Technology. Avhandlingens tittel: "The concept and implementation of the neighbourhood idea in Poland, Belgium and the Netherlands after WWII"
